I'm Adam.  I have two sons, Roman & Charlie.  My wife, Angie, and I are serious about seeing our sons grow into men with character.  Over four years ago, I quit my job to ante up on our intention.

So now I operate a Family Child Care Home.  Every time somebody asks me what I do for a living, I think of that scene from "Airplane" when Striker walks into the cockpit and is greeted by Leslie Nielsen's character, who asks, "Can you fly this plane?"  Striker says, "Surely you can't be serious.", to which Nielsen replies, "I am serious.  And don't call me Shirley."  

Before Ang and I were introduced to quality family child care, we perceived home child care as a joke... taboo at the least.  What we've learned over the past four years is that great certified family child care providers do exist.  They are committed business owners and educators who care about kids enough to let a pre-school cyclone barrel through their homes every day.  When it's finished, they clean up, re-group and eagerly await the wild ride they're in for tomorrow.
